Ian Martin says Nepal Army Recruitment against Peace Accords
The standoff between the Nepal Army and the Defence Ministry over the recruitment of 2,600 personnel has now escalated into a full-scale political issue.
The government justified reaction by saying the recruitment is against the Comprehensive Peace Accord (CPA) and the spirit of the peace process.
Ian Martin of United Nations’ Mission In Nepal (UNMIN) also said so.
