Salute public meeting ofCivil Liberties Commitee of Telengana in ballianghampall vinghyan sundaram hall in Hyderabad protesting the massacre in Gadricholi and the Facist Nazi type arrests of 5. Genuine democrats .

Around 200 persons attended but it laid the base for a spark to turn into a prairie fire to extinguish fascism.The best revolutionary intellectuals of our land like Varavara Rao, Professor Haragopal and K Venugopal addressed the meet and crusaders for civil liberties like Laxman Gadam, Chandrashekar and Narayana Rao.

Sadly the bourgeoisie press virtually boycotted the event displaying its partisan attitude with the Hindutva fascism.Speakers explained the desperation of the Hindutva fascist forces to survive ,

They confirmed that Hindutva fascism had scaled heights never reached before.

Unfortunately negligible participation by students and working class and other sections of the revolutionary democratic camp..Fascist repression in the state was reflected in the relatively low participation of people.

Nevertheless qualitatively a most significant event held when the nation witnessed streaks of Nazi fascism ressurrected.

Neverthless the Civil Liberties Commitee revealed its determination to fight to the very end to punish the perpetrators of gadricholi massacre and for the release of all 5 activists.-Rona Wilson,Mahesh Raut,Surenda Gadling,Sudhir Dhawale and Shoma.

Let us hope that the Civil Liberties Committee continues the glorious tradition of revolutionary democratic resistance against fascism of the past.

No doubt in recent years it has done most commendable work in investigating state terror of Operation Green Hunt.

A strong democratic rights movement like that in the 1970's and 80's has to be revived in the days when trends of Nazi fascism has been ressurrected..
