Zizek Peterson debate - joined at the hip

Democracy and Class Struggle has serious problems with Zizek but Peterson is a charlatan - Peterson so called commentary on the Communist Manifesto shows he has NOT read the Communist Manifesto but tells his Communist Manifesto Story.

Zizek agreeing with Peterson on his story telling on the Communist Manifesto as some form of economic determinism is reducing Marxism to an absurdity and abandoning the dialectic. 

Zizek should know better - he does.

Lesson for Zizek and Peterson

The socialist revolutionary Joseph Weydemeyer coined the term "dictatorship of the proletariat", which Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels adopted to their philosophy and economics; that the Paris Commune (1871), which controlled the capital city for two months, before being suppressed, was an example of the dictatorship of the proletariat. 

In Marxist philosophy, the term "Dictatorship of the bourgeoisie" is the antonym to "dictatorship of the proletariat".


Zizek cannot speak for us he speaks for himself as he tries to legitimize Peterson who is a story teller and no historical materialist -in fact no materialist at all.

This  debate will become an example of how not to engage with your opponent / enemy.

Trumpism is Proto Fascism a precursor and Zizek is wrong. 

Zizek see's Fascism as a thing and not a process and by the time he calls out Fascism it will already have overwhelmed us.

Hegel wrote: "The owl of Minerva spreads its wings only with the falling of the dusk."
