Maoist chairman Prachanda, who has vowed to launch economic revolution, has intensified his interaction with the business community.

On Friday, Prachanda met with the business leaders from Marwari community. The meeting was held at his residence in Naya Bazaar.

Prachanda urged the business community to contribute for economic development of the country by making more investments in trade and industries.

The Marwaris, in turn, sought commitment from the Maoist leadership for an investment friendly environment since key election to a constituent assembly has completed.

Prachanda expressed commitment that the new government under his party's leadership will create friendlier environment for private investment.

Earlier, during an interaction with representatives of Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FNCCI), Prachanda had said his party would adopt capitalist form of economic policy and vowed to make next 10 years as the decade of economic revolution in Nepal.
