CPN-Maoist Chairman Prachanda Sunday said that Maoists will move forward with coordination among the parties

CPN-Maoist Chairman Prachanda Sunday said that Maoists will move forward with coordination among the parties stating that the general Nepali public voted for the Maoists to give continuation to the culture of peace, change and coordination.

Speaking at a programme organised in the capital by the Maoist to welcome the newly appointed leadership of the Federation of Nepalese Journalist,

Prachanda expressed commitment that his party will respect press freedom at all times.

The Maoist supremo also said that it was his desire to make the former rebels a completely democratic party by bestowing the press with complete freedom.

“The Nepali people voted in favour of peace, change and continuation of co-ordination among the parties in the CA polls,” said Prachanda.

Prachanda also accepted that Maoists have been responsible for wrongdoings against the journalists in the past and said that the right to information and the press act will be implemented after the formation of the next government.
