Condemn Strongly the Ghastly Murder of Ganti Prasadam, the Vice President of RDF by State-Sponsored Vigilante Gangs!

COMMITTEE FOR
THE RELEASE OF POLITICAL PRISONERS
185/3, FOURTH FLOOR, ZAKIR NAGAR, NEW DELHI-110025

05/07/2013

Condemn Strongly the Ghastly Murder of Ganti Prasadam, the Vice President of RDF by State-Sponsored Vigilante Gangs!

Constitute Immediately a Judicial Inquiry into the Killing of Ganti Prasadam by Vigilante Goons!

Ganti Prasadam, the All India Vice-President of Revolutionary Democratic Front (RDF) as well as the Executive Member of the Committee for the Relatives and Friends of Martyrs, succumbed to the brutal and fatal attack on 5 July 2013 on him by unidentified gunmen in Nellore town. He was fatally wounded on his his neck with hunting sickles and later shot at with a pistol on the 4th afternoon. Comrade Ganti Prasadam was at Nellore to attend a public meeting of the Martyrs’ Committee held every year to remember the martyrs of Nellore. He bacame the target of the waiting goons when after the meeting, along with three of his associates of the committee he was on to visit one of the ailing relatives of a martyr at a local hospital.

Ganti Prasadam was operated on after receiving bullet injuries and the doctors were trying in vain to remove the third bullet which was dangerously close to his spinal cord. Comrade Ganti Prasadam this time could not sustain his arduous struggle to keep up his breath.

Given the notorious anti-people track-record of the intelligence agencies in Andhra Pradesh which have resorted to the worst kinds of atrocities on the struggling oppressed people of the region, be it naxalites, adivasis, dalits or Muslims, this murderous operation is reminiscent to the dastardly assassination of people’s political, social and civil rights activists in the past 40 years. Dr. Ramanadham, Purushottam, Jappa Laxmana Reddy, Prabhakar Reddy, Kanakachari, Azam Ali, Belli Lalita are a few examples of dedicated people’s leaders and civil rights activists targetted by the state in Andhra Pradesh in the past. The state government cannot shy away from this glaring fact. All of us are witness to the heinous and pre-meditated ways in which the intelligence agencies of Andhra Pradesh have criminalised and specifically targeted the Muslim youth and their leadership. Specific targeting and criminalising the leading activists of the Telangana movement through false cases and incarceration is also before us. All these desperate designs of the state has never deterred the people of the region from raising their voices for their genuine and just demands.

Comrade Prasadam represented this spirit of the people of Andhra Pradesh as he, despite being incarcerated several times behind bars with trumped up cases was one of the tireless voices who became part of every meetings and demonstrations demanding the unconditional release of all political prisoners. While being in the prison in Orissa, he went on a hunger strike demanding the release of all political prsioners in the prisons of Orissa, mostly adivasis, dalits and people working against all kinds of displacement that had gripped the rural areas of Orissa. Any form of dissent in Orissa in these times are deemed ‘unlawful’ and hence to be tried under the worst kind of dracnian laws. As part of further crimialising any kind of political mobilisation that makes a scathing indictment of the anti-people policies of Liberalisation-Privatisation-Globalisation, the Andhra Pradesh government have banned the RDF in which Ganti Prasadam was elected as all India Vice-President.

CRPP is one with all progressive and democratic forces to condemn the assassination of Com. Ganti Prasadam. It is important at this juncture to see through the desperate designs of the state and its murderous, lawless agencies—all terrifed with the deepening economic crisis and the ravages that it has created among the powers that be along with the increasing resentment of the people against the dog-eat-policies of the governement—to somehow browbeat the toiling masses of the people into submission. What is of utmost significance is to join hands to defeat such evil designs of the state by once again intensifying our resolve to fight against all anti-people laws, anti-people policies, and the increasing tendencies of the Indian state and their representatives in the Andhra Pradesh government to criminalise all forms of dissent of the people for their struggle for a better future free from all forms of exploitation and oppression. We at the CRPP demand that a judicial inquiry be constituted immediaely into the assassination of Com. Ganti Prasadam and the culprits be brought to book without delay. Only the vigilant masses and their fearless resistance against all anti-people policies and the increasing fascisation of the state can ensure that such evil designs of the state be checked.

India: Comrade Ganti Prasadam Vice President of Revolutionary Democratic Front, a popular revolutionary mass leader, attcked by a 3-member state-appointed gang of vigilantes with hunting swords and a pistol.

A cowardly attempt was made late this afternoon in Nellore on the life of the Vice President of Revolutionary Democratic Front, Comrade Ganti Prasadam, a popular revolutionary mass leader, by a 3-member state-appointed gang of vigilantes with hunting swords and a pistol. He is being operated upon in a hospital at Nellore; doctors were last reported to be still trying to remove a third bullet. His condition is extremely critical at the moment. Let us join in condemning this dastardly attack!

Democracy and Class Struggle calls for solidarity with Comrade Granti Prasadam and demand that the State appointed vigilantes be brought to justice immediately.

Our heart goes out to Comrade Ganti Prasadam and we wish him strength to survive this attack.

REVOLUTIONARY DEMOCRATIC FRONT (RDF) – PRESS RELEASE – 4 July 2013

Comrade Ganti Prasadam, the All India Vice-President of Revolutionary Democratic Front was brutally and fatally attacked by some unidentified gunmen in Nellore town today in the afternoon. The attackers first slew him on his neck with hunting sickles and then shot at him with a pistol three rounds. Comrade Ganti Prasadam is critically injured in the assassination attempt and at present he is being operated in a hospital in Nellore.

According to the doctors who are working on him, his condition is extremely critical. Comrade Prasadam has been also serving on the Committee for the Relatives and Friends of Martyrs as an Executive Member. He arrived at Nellore today to attend a public meeting of the Martyrs’ Committee, which is being held every year on 4 July remembering the Martyrs of Nellore. After the meeting, accompanied by three other members of the Committee he went to visit a family member of a martyr, who was hospitalised in a local Government Hospital. An assassination team of three were in waiting to swoop on him when he came out of the Hospital.

In flash of a second they attacked Comrade Ganti Prasadam, before the other comrades realised of what was happening. When they tried to catch hold of murderous gang, they ran away leaving the swords behind. Two bullets have been removed from his body so far in hours-long operation. The doctors have been maintaining that they cannot give any assurance of his safety till they could remove the third bullet, which has entered in a critical position near spinal card. RDF believes that the assassination attempt on our Vice-President is designed and carried out by none other than the state intelligence agencies in charge of anti-Maoist operations in Andhra Pradesh.

The state has clearly involved in the murderous attack, as Comrade Prasadam could not be cowed down by a huge number of cases fabricated on him apart from incarcerating him in prisons from time to time. The state government banned our organisation soon after the first Conference of RDF in Hyderabad in April 2011, in which Comrade Prasadam was elected as all India Vice-President. RDF condemns this assassination attempt in strongest terms and appeals all democratic organisations and individuals to join us in these moments of grief and sorrow, and condemn the attack and its conspirators in unequivocal terms.

The Government of Andhra Pradesh is directly responsible for the attack. In Andhra Pradesh, such attacks of assassination of people’s political, social and civil rights activists have been not uncommon in the past 40 years. Dr. Ramanadham, Purushottam, Azam Ali, Belli Lalita are a few dedicated people’s leaders and civil rights activists who were targetted by the state in Andhra Pradesh in the past. History has proved that such attacks on people’s activists in the past never brought an end to the people’s movement. In fact the mass resistance movement of people in Andhra, Telanagan and in the entire subcontinent is on the rise in the recent months and is going to engulf the anti-people pro-imperialist comprador ruling classes along with their reactionary counterparts in rural regions.

Gilbert Achcar on the Egyptian Army and the Ousting of Morsi from Power

We do not see in Egypt the three magic weapons that Mao Zedong said that are  required for the science of revolution.

The  Revolutionary Maoist Communist Party, the People's Army and the United Front.

There is still no Mao from the Nile Delta so feared by the Nasserists, Islamists and the Imperialists.

However Marxism Leninism Maoism is still young and is a powerful ideology that will grow expotentially in periods of revolutionary crisis like the current one has people seek answers has to why the movements are being hi jacked by the elites.

On International Solidarity: Some Questions of Principle by Jan Myrdal

Dear friends!

Palestine and Kashmir are both under foreign military occupation and we all are here to express our solidarity with the Palestinian and the Kashmiri people.  In both cases this occupation and the periodically violent conflict with the occupiers has been going on for more than sixty years. The history of popular solidarity work in metropolitan and other states of our kind with people suffering under colonial and imperial rule is of course much longer. I thus here now want to raise and discuss some experiences.

I will begin by saying something we always ought to be aware of. Solidarity is not a question of doing something for others.  This is not a truth just for the present. You know the words of John Donne from 1624: ”No man is an island…”. In present political terms we know that Marx in the nineteenth century pointed out that the struggle against the oppression of the Irish is necessary for the liberation here in Britain.

But there is a difference between the social and political  work we take part in directly, you in the UK or we in Sweden, and our solidarity work. The solidarity work is has a different agenda. Some here might have come directly from Palestine or Kashmir and are thus a part of that present struggle. But I as a Swede must understand that it is not for me to say how the struggle for national independence in Palestine and Kashmir is to be conducted. I might have opinions. That is another thing. But the decision on how to struggle is not for me.

Nearly two generations ago we built a Swedish mass movement for solidarity with the peoples  of South East Asia in their national struggle against French colonialism and the United States war.  We did it independently and from below, outside parties. We expressed our principle of solidarity  to to the representatives from South East Asia as ”solidarity on your terms”. It was for them – not us to decide.  Why did we express ourselves in this way?  We had summed up the experience of anti-colonial and anti-imperial and peace movements the last more than hundred years! Those of you who are from South Asia know the detrimental effects of well meaning outside advice and interference during the liberation struggle in the nineteen-thirties and forties.

During the first years the solidarity work against the United States war in South East Asia was an uphill struggle Not only the mass media were against us. Militants lost their jobs, both the security police and the regular police were used against us. Towards the end of 1967 the government even – for the first time in Sweden since 1917 – set in had mounted police against our peaceful demonstration. I too was beaten up, jailed and was to be given a four year jail sentence. But we had at that time such a strong following that the government changed policies. If you can’t beat them – join them! And in the next demonstration Olof Palme, then minister for education, later prime minister,  led the demonstration. Of course the United States government was furious at Sweden. Our movement had by keeping a principled line and through talking with people, selling bulletins, demonstrating and holding meetings  grown to a mass movement and thus been instrumental in changing the official Swedish policies. Which was good for our own independence as a nation.

I will say this still more concretely. Twelve years before my birth Norway fought for independence from the union with Sweden. What I could call ”we” in Sweden, the labour movement and the socialist youth league, were not only active but were a determining force in stopping the ruling class in Sweden from going to war with Norway.  The leader of the Swedish Social Democracy, Hjalmar Branting, was sentenced in 1895 for warning the government that their policy could result in ”a bullet” against the or those for war responsible. Ten years later when the crisis became acute the socialist youth league spread the word among the recruits of our conscript army that in case of war against Norway they should turn their guns in the right direction; the officers of the Swedish army had to be shot before they could give any orders. That open threat of civil war scared the ruling class and it did not chose war but let Norway go. But remember – these I rightly can call ”we” did not interfere in Norwegian affairs. They surely were not in favour of the Norwegians opting for monarchy for instance. But that was a decision only for the Norwegians.

As we all know, or should be aware of, the freedom of the media in countries of our type will be restricted when the dominant forces deem it in their interest. The gate keepers of the official media earn their pay by keeping the public misinformed. But still it is normally in our countries not in the strict sense illegal to spread information that is being kept out of the media. Thus the solidarity work to a large extent becomes supplying basic information. I don’t think ordinary people in this country have a clear understanding even of the great crime in Palestine 65 years ago: Al nakba. Then 750 000 Palestinians were driven from their land upon which the state of Israel then  was erected and the evicted Palestinians forcibly, at gun point, were forbidden ever to return.

This crime is continuing as settlers, many of them coming from Sweden or the United States or Eastern Europe, contrary to all international law build their villages on Palestinian land that was occupied by Israeli forces in the last violent annexation campaign. They try to sell the products from this illegaly occupied land in our countries. In Sweden we agitate against this. Inform, demonstrate. Show that the managers of the food chains selling this are in fact receivers of stolen goods.

Now and then governments and politicians from the United Kingdom, the United States and other of our countries mutter. But they do not stop the Israelis. The reason is clear, if you go back to the First World War you find that that the present policies supporting the state of Israel are a continuation of that economic and military Great Game in West and Central Asia. This truth has to be clarified in order to gain popular support in our countries for the freedom struggle of the Palestinian people.

At times there have in fact been attempts through the United Nations to reach a solution that was not a continuing crime against the Palestinian people. But when the Swedish count Bernadotte came forward with such a plan then Yizak Shamir – who later became prime minister of the Israeli state – just had him murdered. It is important for us in Sweden to keep making this murder known. Pro-Israeli groups have after the murder tried to slander him as pro-nazi  He was not. He was a normal member of the royal family, not a revolutionary but as head of the Swedish Red Cross he managed at the end of the war to get Himmler to let at least Scandinavian prisoners out of the German concentration camps. He saved some 15 000 prisoners from different countries. He was murdered 17th September 1948 as he was putting forward a solution that went against the plans of the extreme sionists.

This murder was swept under the carpet. As far as the governments of what is callet ”the west” are concerned there will be no reaction against the continous crimes of the Israeli state against the Palestinian people. If we are not able to organize and put such an internal pressure on them that they have to act that is.

Here we must be able to see clearly with whom can we cooperate in this work. Let me take an example. In the nineten-fifties, during the beginning of the war for national liberation in Algeria I lived in Paris. Who supported the Algerian people in their struggle? Not the big and then still officially revolutionary labour movement and their notables. It was small ultra left groups as the FCL ”Féderation communiste libertaire” and the PCI, ”Parti communiste internationaliste”, a catholic writer, member of the French Academy who had just received the Nobel Prize,  François Mauriac and then different writers and intellectuals generally. There are reasons for this. I can discuss them another time. But the pattern is the same today in the very broad solidarity movement with Palestine in Sweden. Several Christian organizations, many of them inside the Swedish Church are from a humanitarian stand very active in support of the Palestinian people and their rights.  Yes, allies in the solidarity work can often be found in unexpected places. Or as Fidel Castro said when I was in Cuba 1967 making a film: ”A catholic priest taking a stand for the rights of the poor and oppressed is a friend of the people whereas an officially communist party that stands aside is not.”

It is also necessary to also closely watch the contradictions among the ruling circles. That the Swedish government of that time early on took contact with the Algerian liberation movement and then also as a first state established diplomatic relations with Algeria was important.

Egypt's Morsi ousted - Cairo Explodes

Democracy and Class Struggle welcomes the exposure of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt but is well aware that other pro - neo liberal contenders are trying to hi jack the people's movement, we have warned about Otpor but they are only one of many organisations and states like Qatar and Saudi Arabia trying to subvert the Egyptian Revolution, until a revolutionary party, a united front and people's army come into existence in Egypt guided by Marxism Leninism Maoism there will be no permanent gains from the struggle.

Democracy and Class Struggle agrees with the 2011 comment of Gilbert Achcar on the Egyptian Military

"Egypt – even more than comparable countries such as Pakistan or Turkey – is in essence a military dictatorship with a civilian façade that is itself stuffed with men originating in the military.

The problem is that most of the Egyptian opposition, starting with the Muslim Brotherhood, have been sowing illusions about the army and its purported “neutrality" if not “benevolence.”

They have been depicting the army as an honest broker, while the truth is that the army as an institution is not “neutral” at all.

Democracy and Class Struggle says do not forget the  $1.3 billion in annual U.S. military aid to Egypt.

Just in case you thought the Egyptian Military has had a sudden conversion to democracy be reminded who was first to congratulate them

Saudi King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz congratulated the newly-appointed Egyptian interim President, Adly Mansour, on Wednesday.

The Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP), together with all revolutionary forces in the Philippines, declare July 2013 as Philippine Solidarity Month for the People’s War in India

Party branches, units of the NPA, chapters of revolutionary mass organizations and governmental departments will devote one or several days of activities to express solidarity and generate support for the people’s war in India.

PRESS STATEMENT
By COMMUNIST PARTY OF THE PHILIPPINES
01 July 2013

CPP declares Philippine Solidarity Month for the People’s War in India

The Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP), together with all revolutionary forces in the Philippines, declare July 2013 as Philippine Solidarity Month for the People’s War in India. The CPP issues this declaration in unity with the call of democratic and anti-imperialist forces for an international day of support for the people’s war in India on 1 July. Let us pay our highest tribute to the heroes and martyrs of the Indian people’s revolution, celebrate its victories, and look forward to its further advances in the future.

The CPP calls on all its entire membership, all Red fighters of the New People’s Army (NPA) and all revolutionary forces and people under its leadership to carry out educational and cultural activities all throughout the month of July to further deepen the Filipino revolutionary forces’ understanding of and solidarity with the people’s democratic revolution in India.

Party branches, units of the NPA, chapters of revolutionary mass organizations and governmental departments will devote one or several days of activities during the month of July to carry out such activities as educational discussions, film showings, cultural presentations and mass propaganda undertakings to express solidarity and generate support for the people’s war in India.
In launching the Philippine Solidarity Month for the People’s War in India, the CPP reciprocates the solidarity week launched by the Communist Party of India (Maoist) or CPI-M last 22-28 April coinciding with the 40th anniversary of the National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP) last 24 April.

Despite the geographical distance and national peculiarities, the people’s war in India and the Philippines share many similarities. Foremost, both people’s war are under the leadership of communist parties that adhere to Marxism-Leninism-Maoism and which are deeply rooted among the toiling masses of the people.

Both advance the democratic interests of the peasants and indigenous peoples for land against the land monopolists and the encroachment of foreign mining companies and foreign monopoly capitalist plunderers. Both advance the democratic struggles of the workers, youth, students, women and other democratic sectors against the exploiters and oppressors.

The CPI-M is at the helm of the People’s Liberation Guerrilla Army in the same manner that the CPP leads the New People’s Army in the Philippines. Both wage extensive and intensive guerrilla warfare while building the people’s organs of democratic political power and waging campaigns to advance the land reform movement. Enjoying widespread support, the PLGA and the NPA continue to expand and accumulate great victories in the field of revolutionary armed struggle.

The people’s war in India and the Philippines are both confronted with brutal campaigns of suppression being carried out by the reactionary forces under the direction of the US imperialist government. The Operation Green Hunt of the Indian reactionaries and the Oplan Bayanihan of the Philippine reactionaries both employ the most abominable forms of armed suppression resulting in gross and widespread violations of human rights. Invariably, these acts of suppression are directed against the revolutionary masses in a vain attempt to terrorize the people.

The US imperialists and the reactionaries vilify the revolutionary forces in India and the Philippines as “terrorists.” They have, however, failed to stymie the growth of the people’s revolutionary movements in India and the Philippines which both have advanced steadily with the deep and broad support of the people. The people’s war in India and the Philippines have repeatedly and decisively frustrated the reactionaries’ attempts at armed suppression as they firmly adhere to the people’s aspirations for democracy.

The Indian and Philippine revolutionary forces both seek and work to help build a broad international anti-imperialist and democratic movement to advance the interests of the toiling masses amidst the worsening crisis of the international capitalist system and the bankruptcy of the neoliberal policies. The people’s war in India and the Philippines see great potential for revolutionary advancements in the face of the intensification of the exploitation and oppression of peoples in both capitalist and semi-colonial and semifeudal countries.

The CPP acclaim the CPI-M and all revolutionary forces in India for persevering along the road of people’s war. The people’s of the world anticipate the growth and great advance of the people’s war in India as the people of India continue to rise up and revolt against the oppression and exploitation of the ruling classes and the imperialists. The peoples of the world see the epic dimensions and potentials of the people’s war in India to change the face of the earth in a big way, in much the same way that the victory of the revolution in China and Russia altered the international balance of the class struggle.

The Filipino people look forward to the complete victory of the Indian revolution even as they seek to achieve victory in their own homeland. The Filipino and Indian people are serving the interests of the proletariat and peoples around the world by waging people’s wars in their homelands and dealing armed blows against the imperialist and their reactionary lackeys. Their advances and victories will indubitably inspire all other peoples of the world to stand up against the imperialists and wage revolution to achieve national and social liberation.

Xi Jinping: "follow communist ideals" by Maoist Rebel

Democracy and Class Struggle combats views of China which do not recognise its capitalist social character, has we see this recognition has a precondition for return of socialism to China.

We take the view that some of Henry CK Liu writings overestimate socialism in the State sector in China and Samir Amin confuses state ownership of Land has a form of pre-socialism, he should be well aware that nationalisation of land is a capitalist demand.

Lenin's views on Land Nationalisation was clear :

"consequently the concept of nationalisation of the land, in terms of economic reality, is a category of commodity and capitalist society"

For some of Mao's thoughts on Land ownership and in particular the signifcance of  a 1962 Law popularly known as the 60 Articles , guaranteed, in the words of Peter Ho that collective ownership was invested in the lowest level: the production team - ie the village. Chairman Mao's time a 1962 Law popularly known as the 60 Articles , guaranteed, in the words of Peter Ho that collective ownership was invested in the lowest level: the production team - ie the village.

Concerning the above video we at Democracy and Class Struggle identify one of the reasons for the current marxist rhetoric of the Chinese leadership has emanating from the contradictions with US imperialism and Obama's aggressive Asia Pivot and TPP polices.

The Chinese Military are fed up with kneeling before US Imperialist expansion in the Pacific and want to defend China's national interests unlike some of the comprador Chinese leaders.

Statement in English and Turkish: Remembering Comrade Azad - We shall never forget our comrade or forgive his murderers - The Indian Comprador State : Statement in English and Turkish

We republish statement from Communist Party of India Maoist on his murder in 2010

Picture: Comrade Azad

COMMUNIST PARTY OF INDIA (MAOIST) CENTRAL COMMITTEE

North Regional Bureau Press statement

3rd July, 2010

It is not an encounter at all!! It is a cold blooded murder by AP Police!!

Red Salutes to Martyrs com. Azad (Cherukuri Rajkumar) and com. Hem Pandey (Jitender)!!

Let us avenge the killings of the beloved comrades by the khaki clad fascist gangs of AP government!!

Azad was arrested at Nagpur on June 1st along with com. Hem Pandey

On June 1st, the notorious Andhra Pradesh Special Branch Police for its abductions and cold blooded murders, have arrested com. Azad, Polit  Bureau member and Spokesperson of CPI (Maoist), and com. Hem Pandey, a zonal committee level comrade in Nagpur city around 11’o clock when they went to meet a comrade who was supposed to receive them from Dandakarnaya zone. Com. Azad reached Nagpur around 10 am on the fateful day along with com. Hem Pandey, after travelling from long distance. With specific information, the lawless goons of AP SIB abducted them, perhaps flown them in a helicopter, to Adilabad jungles near Maharashtra border and killed them point block and in cold blood.

We pay our red homage to our beloved comrades and vow to take vengeance of these killers.

Life of com. Azad

Comrade Azad is one of the senior most party leaders of CPI (Maoist). He was born in Krishna district of AP, in a well to do family. He did his school education in Sainik School, at Korukonda of the present Vizianagaram District. Com. Surapuneni Janardhan, a legendary comrade of the student movement brought com. Raj Kumar into RSU in 1974. A brilliant student at the Regional Engineering College, which became famous as Radical Engineering College in those days, he finished his Mtech in Chemical Engineering and moved to Vishakhapatnam as per the Party direction. He was the second president of AP Radical Students Union till 1984. He was the catalyst behind many all Andhra wide student agitations and peoples movements in that period. He became the district committee member of vizag unit of the CPI (ML) (PW). He moved length and breadth of India, to organize the Seminar on Nationality question held in Madras (now Chennai) in 1981. He was shifted to Karnataka in 1982 and com. Azad was one of the founder members of the Karnataka Party and worked as the secretary of the Karnataka State Committee. He was taken into CC, after the Central Plenum in 1990. He was the elected member of CC in the All India conference in 1995 and since then he served in CC and PB. He continued in those posts after the formation of CPI Maoist too in 2004. He has been the spokes person of the CC since then.

Known for his simple life and hard work; voracious reading and brilliant analyses of situations, crystal clear articulation and sharp logic, and fine organizational skills, he contributed widely to the revolutionary movement in many spheres. He wrote profusely to the People’s March, Peoples war (theoretical organ of the CPI (Maoist), and to the Maoist Information Bulletin. He wrote a fine critique of the intellectuals of AP, who got disillusioned and lost faith in revolutionary movement after the 1990 events of collapse of soviet imperialism and its satellite regimes.

In his death, the Indian revolutionary movement lost an exemplary comrade and a shining star, who served the movement more than three and half decades.

Just before his last journey, he received questions for interview from a well known magazine. He replied that he was in the journey and would send the answers as early as possible.

It is not Sukhdev, but com. Hem Pandey of Uttarakhand who was killed by APSIB

Com. Hem Pandey, 30, hailed from a nearby village of Pithoragarh town of Uttarakhand State. He did his MA history in Nainital University and got himself registered in PhD. While he was in college, he was active member of AISA, and slowly realizing he pseudo revolutionary character of AISA politics, he moved to the radical groups, later in 2001 he joined the then CPI (ML) (PW). He organized peasantry in the mountainous villages in Almora district, taking up umpteen numbers of issues of peasantry, including the problems arose out of Binsar Sanctuary. Soft-spoken, bespectacled, lean and energetic Com. Hem won the love of people of that region. He was moved into more important works in 2005. He had done his new assignments with patience and endurance. His appetite for learning new things, reading more and more, and zeal for penning his ideas are things for the emulation for all the revolutionaries. He has written various articles to newsmagazines under various pen names. We request the civil rights organisations to demand the A P police to send the body of com. Hem Pandey to his bereaved mother who is in Haldwani, Uttarakhand state, who is his sole surviving parent.

APSIB- the Indian avatar of Mossad

The Andhra Pradesh Special Intelligence Bureau, which has been partially trained partially by the Mossad, has acquired the notoriety of its master trainer-Mossad, in India. It has been moving across the state borders, and conducting abductions and cold blooded murders with impunity. This is all happening with clear blessings of Manmohan- Sonia and Chidambaram. This fascist gang has established its tentacles all over India, resorting the killings of revolutionaries, scoffing at the recent AP high court judgement that all encounters are to be first booked as murders under IPC 302, Ultimaely these killers will be taken to task by the revolutionary masses.

Will Chidambaram expect CPI (Maoist) to sit for talks with his blood on his hands of com. Azad and com. Hem Pandey?

CPI (Maoist) never contested or raised any hue and cry in the case of real encounters. The AP Police is resorting to globbeian lies, not believed even by gullible. CPI (Maoist) stood for truth and accountability to the people, and always stated facts. There is no such programme of Azad going to Sarkepally forest of Adilabad. Azad was going to discuss with our comrades, inter alia, the concrete proposals of well meaning people like Swamy Agnivesh about particular dates for the mutual cease fire. He was a carrying the confidential letter of Swamy Agnivesh written to Azad dated- 26th June 2010. Will Chidambaram expect CPI (Maoist) to sit for talks with his blood on his hands of com. Azad and com. Hem Pandey? He calls repeatedly to us to abjure violence? Killing the unarmed comrades by AP Police with your blessings – is it not like devils chanting scriptures?

White lies by AP Police

When there is no movement and organization in Adilabad, what is the necessity of Azad going to Azad? That the police found AK47 is again white lie. He alighted from a train around 10 am along with com. Hem Pandey in Nagpur Station, and was caught by the APSIB unarmed. Is the government following its own constitution of article 21? Is the government following kernel of the Geneva Convention that “defenceless persons” should not be harmed? Is it not utter hypocrisy and hoax that on one hand the government is placing the prevention of torture bill and the police every minute resorting to the torture of the detained? It is a concocted story of encounter repeated ad nauseum, by the AP Police, churned out to the media umpteen times. The right life, guaranteed under the constitution is mocked and the right to be produced within 24 hours of the arrest is metamorphasized into killing within 24hours of arrest, so that there is no scope for any redressal by their near and dear.

We appeal to the civil rights organizations, democrats, patriots to raise to raise to the occasion thoroughly investigate this fake encounter as an example of extra judicial killing that are happening in scores in this country and bring out the truth before the people.

Åžehit yoldaÅŸ Azad’ı (Cherukuri Rajkumar) ve yoldaÅŸ Hem Pandey’i (Jitender) selamlıyoruz.

Değerli yoldaşlarımızın önünde saygıyla eğiliyor ve katillerinden itikamımızı alacağımızı and içiyoruz

Azad yoldaşın hayatı

Andhra Pradesh’in Krisha bölgesinde, iyi halli bir ailenin çocuÄŸu olarak dünyaya gelen yoldaÅŸ Azad, HKP (Maoist)’in üst düzey liderlerinden birisiydi. Kısa süre içinde Hindistan Komünist Partisi-Marksist/Leninist (Halk Savaşı) partisinin [Bu parti, Hindistan Komünist Partisi (Maoist)’in öncellerinden birisidir –çevirenen notu-] bölge komitesi üyeliÄŸine getirildi.

YoldaÅŸ Azad, Halkın Yürüyüşü (People’s March), HKP (Maoist)’in teorik yayın organı Halk Savaşı’na (People’s War) ve Maoist Enformasyon Bülteni’ne (Maoist İnformation Bulletin) çok sayıda yazı yazdı.

Chidambaram ellerinde yoldaÅŸ Azad ve yoldaÅŸ Hem Padey’in kanları varken HKP (Maoist)’in görüşmeler için masaya oturacağını mı umuyor?

HKP (Maoist) gerçek karşılaşmalar (iki tarafın karşılaşması sonucu çıkan çatışmalar) yaşandığında asla feryat edip ağlamadı. Andra Pradesh polisi avanakların dahi inanmadığı yalanlara başvuruyor. HKP (Maoist) halka karşı gerçeği ve hesap verilebirliği savundu ve her zaman gerçekleri açıkladı.

Azad’ın Adilabad’ın Sarkepally ormanlarında katılacağı bir program söz konusu deÄŸildir. Azad, diÄŸer ÅŸeylerin yanısıra Swamy Agnivesh gibi iyi niyetli insanların karşılıklı ateÅŸkes için belirli tarihlere dair somut önerilerini yoldaÅŸlarla tartışmak için gidiyordu.

Swamy Agnivesh’in Azad’a yazdığı 26 Haziran 2010 tarihli mektup üzerindeydi. Chidambaram ellerinde yoldaÅŸ Azad ve yoldaÅŸ Hem Padey’in kanları varken HKP (Maoist)’in görüşmeler için masaya oturacağını mı umuyor?

AP Polisi’nden Beyaz Yalanlar

Maoist Communist Party of France - Long Live People's War in India

Long live People’s War in India !
Glory to the fallen Comrades for the cause of revolution !

In the occasion of the international day of support to People’s War on July 1st, our Party pay a tribute to the Comrades, men and women, fallen in the frontline, murdered in cold blood, jailed, tortured by reaction.

We particularly salute Comrades Azad and Kishenji’s memory, assassinated on July 1st 2010 and November 24th 2011.

Through the recent attacks carried out by the People’s Liberation Guerilla Army (PLGA), Communist Party of India (maoist) demonstrated the liveliness of People’s War and the amplitude of the threat that it represents for indian ruling classes.

We cannot but salute the elimination of the counter-revolutionary militia Salwa Judum’s chief, Mahendra Karma, which the awful crimes were published in the 25th May communiqué issued by Dandakaranya Special Zonal Committee of CPI (Maoist) :

“One can hardly find any examples in the history to compare the severity of the devastation and barbarity caused by Salwa Judum to the lives of the Bastar people. It killed more than one thousand people in cold blood; torched 640 villages into ashes, robbed thousands of houses; ate or took away chickens, goats, pigs, etc.; forced more than two million people to be displaced; dragged more than 50 thousand people into state-run ‘relief’ camps. Thus the Salwa Judum became an anathema to the people. Hundreds of women were gang raped. Many women were murdered after rape. Massacres took place in many places. The atrocities perpetrated on the people and havoc created by the hooligans of Salwa Judum, the police and paramilitary forces, especially the Naga and Mizo battalions crossed all limits. There were several incidents in which people were brutally cut into pieces before being dumped in rivers. Cherli, Kotrapal, Mankeli, Karremarka, Mosla, Munder, Padeda, Paralnar, Pumbad, Gaganpalli... in a number of villages people were killed en masse. Hundreds of tribal youth were recruited as SPOs and were turned into hardened criminals. Mahendra Karma himself led the attacks on several villages in the name of conducting meetings and marches. Many women were raped by the goons with the direct instigation of Mahendra Karma. He was directly involved in many incidents of burning the villages, torturing and murdering the people. Thus, in the minds of the people of Bastar, Mahendra Karma remained as an inhuman killer, rapist, dacoit and a loyal broker of the big capitalists. In entire Bastar people have been demanding our party and the PLGA for many years that he must be punished. Many of them came forward voluntarily to give active support in this task. There were also a few attempts, but due to petty mistakes and other reasons he was able to escape.”

We reiterate once again our support to the Communist Party of India (maoist) in its hard struggle against indian state which relies on several imperialist powers in its war against its own people, including France which is supposed to deliver 126 Rafale warplanes and 63 optional.

We reaffirm that our support to People’s War in India can only find its full-fledged existence in the development of revolution in our own country, led against our own imperialism. We follow in that sense proletarian internationalism as defined by Lenin : “There is one, and only one, kind of real internationalism and that is working wholeheartedly for the development of the revolutionary movement and the revolutionary struggle in one’s own country, and supporting (by propaganda, sympathy, and material aid) this struggle, this, and only this, line, in every country without exception.”

We salute the development of revolutionary people’s governments (Krantikari Janatana Sarkars) in the red areas despite the ferocious fights that oppose revolutionaries to state armed forces. These represent the future of indian society, a development to serve the people opposed to capitalist development imposed by ruling classes from which people’s masses are suffering.

We salute the revolutionary women in their struggle to break the specific oppression which they are suffering from, particularly in a semi-feodal society like indian society.

We salute the adivasis, dalits and religious and national minorities which are suffering from cast and hindu chauvinist domination and from indian expansionism.

We salute the male and female workers who are struggling against the dreadful exploitation of their bosses, puppets of imperialist monopolies.

We salute the peasantry and agricultural workers who oppose to feudal landlords.

We salute the intellectuals and students who are siding with the exploited and oppressed by supporting actively People’s War and opposing Green Hunt Operation.

We salute the large people’s masses who struggle on a daily basis for their liberation and emancipation.

In our country, we are working actively so that echoes of the People’s War in India will reach the hearts of the factories, people’s neighborhoods, universities, schools to strengthen and develop class struggle for revolution.

Long live Communist Party of India (maoist) !
Long live People’s War in India !
Long live proletarian internationalism !
Long live world proletarian revolution !
