Unified CPN (Maoist) has formed a probe committee to investigate and report on the luxurious lifestyle of leaders and cadres based in cities.
The party’s central committee formed a probe committee under the coordination of senior vice-chairman Mohan Baidhya Kiran on Friday to recommend policies and plans to discipline the leaders and cadres, within three months.
The committee was formed following widespread complaints from within and outside the party that leaders and cadres in Kathmandu were living a luxurious life, while cadres in rural areas were deprived of basic needs.
