Marxism Against Market Socialism on Marx's Birthday - The Struggle Continues

200 years since birth of Marx we revisit the anatomy of capitalism its political economy and marxist science and bourgeois apologetics.

The issue of market socialism verses collective socialism began in the first flush of the modern socialist movement of the industrial working class in the 1820's, subsequent controversies between Marxism and varieties of market socialism expressed a struggle between a bourgeois line and a working class line in the working class movement

Israel - Iranian Tension Go Sky High

Arundhati Roy’s Latest Novel Takes on Fascism, Rising Hindu Nationalism in India & Abuses in Kashmir

Democracy and Class Struggle says Arundhati Roy's is the best of that spirit which was also the  illusion of bourgeois democratic India -  but it is an India that has been killed stone dead by Hinduvta Fascism of Narendra  Modi and its bodies are found in Gadchiroli.

Today India a land of democratic promise mythologised into "largest democracy in the world" is its polar opposite with its finest like Professor Saibaba in prison and it patriots murdered in Gadchiroli.

There is a wave of communal violence and fear in India today witness the hysterical media coverage of the Gadchiroli massacre calling for more killing of comrades.

India can be a revolutionary democratic socialist country and give the word civilisation a real positive meaning or decend into the eternal turmoil of caste and class struggle.

As long as India produces daughters like Arundhati Roy and sons like Professor Saibaba's there is a thin ray of light that gives hope for India and for all our futures.

CPI Maoist Gadchiroli vowed to punish traitors and avenge massacre of comrades

Posters put up by the CPI Maoist across South Gadchiroli on Wednesday night claimed that they would avenge the murder of their comrades in what was clearly a violation of human rights.

They also vowed to punish the traitors who facilitated the police operations.

The posters issued by the South Gadchiroli committee of the CPI(Maoist), also called for a bandh on Friday 4th May to protest the fake and one-sided massacre.

Dalit Struggle : Salute the Rally of Lok Ekta in Bathinda which defended rights of Dalits by Harsh Thakor

SALUTE 6500 RALLY OF LOK EKTA ON APRIL 28TH IN BATHINDA WHICH WAS OF GREAT QUALITATIVE SIGNIFICANCE TOWARDS DEFENDING THE RIGHTS OF DALITS.METICULOUS EFFORT ON ASSERTING THE CORRECT CLASS APPROACH AND NOT JUST MAKING IT OUT TO SIMPLY BE A DALIT ISSUE IN ISOLATION..

GREAT EMPHASIS PLACED ON UNITY OF DALITS WITH OTHER OPPRESSED SECTIONS LIKE POOR PEASANTRY AND WORKERS.SIGNIFICANT SUPPORT BY LANDED PEASANT COMMUNITY WHICH IS PROGRESSIVE.

One of the most significant rallies in the revolutionary political history of Punjab took place yesterday in Bathinda .

Inspite of it being the harvesting season in it's peak time around 6000-7000 people gathered for the demonstration.Had it not been for framers being busy with working on the fields around 10000 atleast would have gathered.

Around 3000 yesterday comprised the dalit agricultural labourers.Other participants comprised the industrial workers, landed peasantry ,youth and intellectuals. It did complete justice to the revolutionary democratic tradition of Punjab where there was trend of outstanding clarity in revolutionary democratic perspective in rallies.Very significant that so many democratic sections marched forward to support the dalits ,particularly the landed peasants and the industrial working class.

The speakers explained the fascistic nature of the state's policy in diluting the SC rights for dalits and promoting anti-Restoration policy. They explained how necessary reservation rights were for the opressed dalit community and how ruling class sections were trying to bend the SC right provisions towards their own favour. All emphasised the need for dalit unity with all democratic and other opressed sections and that even the issue of umemployment should not be seen in isolation as just a dalit question.Trey summed up how the New Economic policy destroyed all the democratic aspirations .of the dalit community.

Intellectuals also defended the dalit rights from the point of view of general democratic rights and not just from perspective of revolutionary class struggle. With great intensity the participants listened to the speakers being able to relate the speeches with their day to day struggles. In the rally the participants displayed the venom or burning rage within their hearts of the anti-people or anti-dalit policies of the ruling classes, shimmering the torch of resistance.

It was a tribute to the painstaking work of the leaders and activists of the Punjab khet mazdoor Union and the Bharatiya Kisan Unionj.(Ugrahan) and partially the Naujwan Bharat Sabha.Speakers included Jhanda Singh Jethuke,Zora Singh Nasrali,Narinder Kumar Jeet,Parmider Singh,Zora Singh Nasrali and Rupinder Kaur.

To me,amongst of the most inspiring and well -organized revolutionary democratic events to be staged in the entire country.Speaks volumes of massline practice of groups like Punjab Khet Mazdoor Union and BKU(Ugrahan)

Tribune News Service

Bathinda, April 28

Members of various Dalit organisations under the banner of the Lok Ekta March gathered in front of the District Administrative Complex here and staged a protest against the Central government for “diluting” the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

The protesters raised slogans against the Central government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. They alleged that if the decision is not rolled back, they would intensify the protest.

Members of the Bharat Kisan Union (Ekta) Ugrahan and Punjab Khet Mazdoor Union also participated in the protest.

Later, the protesters took out a protest march from the ADC to Fire Brigade Chowk, passing through Fauji Chowk and Hanuman Chowk.

Convener of the Lok Ekta March Lacchman Singh, who is also general secretary of the Punjab Khet Mazdoor Union, said, “A number of incidents are being reported in which Dalits are targeted, but instead of making the law more strict, the government had diluted the Act.”

He said, “It was an anti-Dalit policy of the Central government. It is gradually trying to weak the SC/ST reservation policies. We will never let this happened.”

Rupinder Kaur, former member of national council of applied research, JNU, said, “Since the BJP came to power, a feeling of insecurity among the SC/ST and other oppressed classes have increased. We feel that there should the decision should be reviewed in national interest.”

She said the Centre had to immediately file a review petition in the Supreme Court so that the SC/ST Act remained effective.

Demands

The Decision of “diluting” the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities Act) be rolled back.

Education and employment for all.

The Dalits should get land.

Cases registered against the Dalits during the protest on Bharat Bandh be cancelled.

Telangana State Committee of the Maoist Party calls to observe ‘bandh' on May 4 to protest against Gadricholi Massacre

Maoists, who have released a press note in Telugu through their Telangana State Committee, have announced a nation-wide bandh on May 4 to protest against the Gadchiroli Masscare.

Most comrades killed were under 29 years of age and many women comrades were killed in recent Gadchiroli Massacre.

                                 OUR DEAD COMRADES

India : Benares : Harsh Thakor congratulates Bhagat Singh Morcha and other organisations for protest against Gadricholi Massacre

Democracy and Class Struggle says let Benares lead the way to protests against Gadricholi Massacre against the wave of communal fascism and fear. We salute the silent bravery of the protesters.

CONGRATULATE BHAGAT SINGH MORCHA FOR STAGING A PROTEST AGAINST OPERATION GREEN HUNT AND MASSACRE OF TRIBALS IN GADRICHOLI INSPITE OF FASCIST SITUATION PREVAILING IN BHU CAMPUS

Salute this small but highly qualitative protest organised by Bhagat Singh Chatra Morcha with 3 other organizations in BHU campus which is the hotbed of Hindu communal Fascism.

It vehemently raised slogans condemning the massacre of 40 Adivasis in Gadricholi and Operation Green Hunt.

All the speakers explained that by such an attack they are not attacking only Maoists but the entire oppressed masses of India and explained how in practice the socio-economic condition of Adivasis prevailing and the govt attitude towards them was terrorism in itself.

They elaborated the tryranny of the corporates over Adivasi people under the globalisation dictates.

Even if not more than 50 persons it inspired the public. We must salute the organizers ,principally the Bhagat Singh Chatra Morcha or withstanding the tide of communal fascism prevailing an successfully staging this programme.

It proves the [potential of the students to combat the wave of fascist repression particularly of the Hindu variety.

Student front Bhgat Singh Chatra Morcha organizing this is an inspiration to the students all over the nation and their message should spread like wildfire to combat the false propganda of the pro-corporate media.

French Troops in Syria

Democracy and Class Struggle supports administrative autonomy for the Kurds in Syria but we think that continued pro imperialism of the Kurdish leadership will jeopardize that aim and that the long term Kurdish interest is a deal with the Syrian State  not being a short term running dog of imperialism of whatever hue.
