All India Resistance to Raids on Human Rights Activists - Report By Harsh Thakor

Democracy and Class Struggle calls for full spectrum resistance against the onslaught of the Indian State on human rights activists - Red Salute to those who have taken to the streets and may they be joined by millions more.

SALUTE THE SHIIMERING LIGHT OF RESISTANCE ENGULFING THE NATION TO EXTINGUISH THE MONSTER OF SAFFRON FASCISM PROVES INDIA WILL NOT TAKE IT LYING DOWN

A Spark seem to be turning into a prairie fire with the banner of resistance against fascism shimmering all over Punjab .

The Communist revolutionary contingent has most boldly protested against the fascist arrest of Varavara Rao, Gautam Navlakha, Sudna Bhardwaj, Arun Ferreir and Vernon Gonzalves condemning the act in the crudest possible manner.

Today a major protest took place in Bathinda comprising 500 people.

Significant that workers, peasants, intellectuals and students participated.

Other significant protests mainly led by C.P.I.(M.L.) New Democracy occured in Gurdaspur ,Jalandhar,Sangrur,Patiala and Ludhiana

In Jalandhar and Ludhiana industrial workers mobilized.

Very progressive to witness the whole contingent of the communist revolutionary camp participate in these rallies. The speakers explained how the torch of fascism was spreading it's wings at a height never before reached and the need to build a concerted democratic secular movement to extinguish it.

Also qualitatively great protests in Benares University campus, Allahabad and Delhi where the press conference resembled big rally.

Interview of Comrade Aparna of Indian Federation of Trade Unions most inspiring summarizing the root and spread of fascism in the nation .

Many democratic intellectual joined the protests which was noteworthy.

In Mumbai anger was simmering in the hearts of many members of the judicial system like lawyer Indira Jaising who openly stated that the nation is facing a worse state than the 1975 emergency

Most progressive to witness such rage in the hearts of so many Indian people who cannot accept the monster of fascism.

In coming days tempo of protest and against state will probably elevate.

Very bold speeches of Anand Teltumde, Arundhati Roy,Indira Jaisingh and Prashant
