Alexander Zakharchenko : Statement of the secretariat of the Central Committee of RCWP-CPSU

Statement of the secretariat of the Central Committee of RCWP-CPSU

On August 31 in the center of Donetsk, in result of the explosion, Alexander Zakharchenko, who headed the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), was assassinated. A few more people were injured. Crime is investigated as a terrorist act.

Another dirty deed has been committed - the head of the young Donetsk People's Republic Alexander Zakharchenko was cynically and despicably killed.

Immediately there appeared a variety of versions on the assassination. Some doubtlessly point at the fascist Kiev and its inspirer, Washington. Others - nod to the Kremlin. Still others are convinced that this is the work of the ‘fifth column’ in the DPR. Some assure that these are money squabbles and the revenge from the oligarchs for imposing external management of large-scale property on the means of production and an attempt to nationalize it.

However, the answer to the questions "Who is the assassin?” And even more significant question "Who benefits?" lie in the mainstream of class analysis. And it has long been known and commonplace: it is the work of imperialism, which is cosmopolitan and regularly appoints the perpetrators of monstrous crimes throughout the world, including personally the killers of A. Zakharchenko, and before that - a number of Donbas field commanders.

To great regret, all this has long been not surprising. This became not something out of the ordinary. The long list of crimes is growing, and there is no reason to believe that this is the last victim. During the short history of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, many murders have already been committed - both among the political leadership of the republics and among the most authoritative commanders of the armed forces. And it is striking that they kill exactly the persons who are the most respected by the - usually more leftist, more pro-Soviet than other leaders. All of them are united by the statement by Alexander Zakharchenko: "We considered, we consider and we will consider ourselves to be a part of the Soviet Union".

Among the assassinated Donbass leaders, Zakharchenko stood out as a great organizer. Born in Donbass, a son of the working miners, he acquired a serious experience of economic activity as director of an enterprise and, therefore, wisely used the tactics of the organized armed people, leaving weapons in the hands of militias and registering workers in enlistment offices as a mobilization reserve in case of unleashing a full-scale war against the DPR.

Thus, he retained the ability of "miners and tractor drivers" to control the situation and the emerging people's power on the republic.

A. Zakharchenko, contrary to the demands of numerous "friends of the people" who wanted just the next economic redistribution of wealth, purposefully pursued a line for the nationalization of large means of production and trade, making them public belonging.

Moreover, he gradually introduced the elements of planned economy, which limited the appetites of insatiable capitalist "fat cats". A piece of pie is weighty - together with LPR (Lugansk) it is 25% of all industrial potential of Ukraine.

With all his actions A. Zakharchenko tried to show that the main thing in the socio-political sphere is the reliance on the people, on the working masses.

It is noteworthy how reverently was A. Zakharchenko's attitude towards children, the system of education, including higher education. He considered education system as the most important factor in building the power of the future state.

Out of the aforementioned series of murders of people's commanders and republic’s leaders, virtually no crime was uncovered. We are not so naive as to assume that the special services of the republics act independently, without the supervision and assistance from the relevant Russian services.

This assistance, in fact, has never been concealed by the Russian authorities. So the question arises: are the Russian curators so inept and helpless that they are unable to protect even the top leadership of their allies, or they have no task to prevent the murders or investigate these crimes.

We must note that with every explosion and with every reprisal against Donbass militia leaders, there remains lesser hope for the people in the so-called People's Republics of Donbass.

Dreams of fighters for the real (in their understanding) people's power (the murdered rebels’ leaders like A. Bednov (aka Batman murdered in 2015), A. Mozgovoy (2015), A. Pavlov (Motorola -2016), P. Dremov (2015), M. Tolstykh (Givi - 2017) and many, many others) are fading.

The practice of the struggle shows again and again that a pure people's democracy, the so-called democracy under capitalism, does not exist and can not exist. The struggle for genuine democracy is possible only on the path of struggle for socialism, for the power of the working people, with the leading role of the organized working class.

The Central Committee of the RCWP-CPSU expresses our condolences to relatives, friends, and comrades of arms of Alexander Zakharchenko, to all the working people of Donbass. We declare that despite the heavy loss of the death of the head of the Donetsk People's Republic, Alexander Zakharchenko, the Communists of Russia, Donbass and Ukraine will continue to fight fascism and capitalism which generates fascism.

TOGETHER - WE ARE STRONGER! OUR CAUSE IS JUST! VICTORY WILL BE OURS!

WE’LL STAND ON THE SELECTED WAY!
