The Soviet - German War, 1941 - 1945 : David M. Glantz and Geoffrey Roberts

COL (Ret) David M. Glantz, Editor, Journal of Slavic Military Studies, presents "The Soviet-German War, 1941-1945: Myths and Realities," as part of the Perspectives in Military History Lecture Series.

This speech by David Glantz throws light on new information from archives in Russia about the Soviet - German War 1941 - 1945.

The work of Geoffrey Roberts also de bunks a lot of the anti Stalin and anti Communist lies taken as truth about the Soviet - German War of 1941 - 1945.

The Nazis invasion of  Russia in June 22nd 1941 was met with heroic Soviet resistance with one million casualties were inflicted on the German Army to ensure by 1942 that a German broad front war could not be maintained and the Nazis had to look for strategic objectives.

There were a number of important Soviet strategic counter offensives in 1941/42 which delayed German advance on Leningrad.

The definitive history of the Soviet - German War has yet to be written as the archives reveal more information -  just as the archives have revealed a different Stalin from the anti communist and anti Russian demonic propaganda that passes for truth in the West.

Truth is an historic process that will revealed by the hard historical research work of David Glanz, Geoffrey Roberts, Grover Furr and Domenico Losurdo.
