French Maoists - Overview of the various Electoral forces in French Elections

The PS program moves the perspective to distribute some crumbs to angry workers who are tired of the sacrifices imposed ostensibly to stem the crisis.

How to deal with the crisis of capitalism without dying away with the system and build a society in which workers develop an economy, a production to meet everyone's needs (health, education, education, culture, environmental protection, etc.. )?

Opponents in the PS have pledged allegiance so "democratic" to the candidate who won the votes because everyone wanted a place that in the government, parliament or in different instances. Their "beliefs" are buried.

The program of the Left Front, apparently, goes further. The measures seem more radical revolution but "citizen" does not aim to overthrow the system.

This is a program of reforms under capitalism, even if it says anti-capitalist program.

In addition, as part of a presidential election, the Left Front will have no choice but to call to vote for the PS candidate, if it is present in the second round.

This includes the Front electoral disappointed Socialist Party and the remnants of the old PC, weakened both organizationally and intellectually by his line of suicidal rejection of all Marxist principles that had helped to build socialism in the USSR and China and to establish a socialist camp we lack today (before the restoration of capitalism in the late 50s and in the USSR in the late 70's in China).

Other forces are in the front left, as managers of the SAF, anti-liberals from the LCR and the NPA or the PCOF, the party claiming to be the party of the proletariat, which has turned to dross his program Established in 1979.

The LO and NPA-Trotskyists who come-and-POI that have a speech-"revolutionary" but have no strategy for seizing power and eventually go with the flow. They maintain the illusion Parliamentary and ultimately only have to align with the candidate best placed "to beat the right", ranking behind the PS.

This principle of electioneering does not allow the emergence of an autonomous revolutionary force.

Environmentalists argue that we can enforce environmental by reason alone, as was already thinking about his time Jean-Jacques Rousseau. They too come back, they are the social contract, surpassed by history.

In reality, the ecology is incompatible with capitalism, which immediately finds the maximum benefit without the rest.

Ultimately, they have agreements election for seats in parliament. They are part of the reformist camp and will have no other recourse but to align with the PS.

On the right, the UMP will continue the program of "reforms" initiated by Sarkozy, the President designated by the financial capital to force the restructuring of the system faced the working class, the proletariat, the masses and a large proportion of middle classes.

This restructuring plan is part of the restructuring of capitalism to prolong the agony as long as possible. Some of the other candidates withdrew their candidacy right after the announcement of the candidacy of Nicolas Sarkozy. If others do not in the first round, they will call to vote for him at second.

Part of the ruling class that realizes the danger of social upheaval but that is against the reformist left, seeking a middle ground in the center of the political spectrum: the MODEM. Its reform program is a vast smoke screen that does not offer more solutions than programs right or left.

Finally, the most reactionary of the electoral spectrum is the National Front, which uses arguments to divide the working class and the masses such as the nationalist withdrawal, exclusion of immigrants as scapegoats and a program completely opposed to protectionist policy of finance capital which they are actually the most radical representatives.

By the division and the appointment of a scapegoat while maintaining an illusion anticapitalist, the FN hopes to recover the revolt that rumbles within the working class and the masses and divert it from its historical path: step by step construction of a system without oppression and exploitation.

The only solution is the FN back in preserving the heart of capitalism: private ownership of means of production research for the maximum rate of profit.

Other right-wing forces are marginal and more or less reactionary.

What position for revolutionaries face in elections?

History teaches us that in times of crisis, the most brutal dictatorship of the bourgeoisie is necessary to safeguard its interests.

In today's conditions where leftist parties are Reformers, the bourgeoisie has not yet need the most brutal forms of domination. She no longer in front of her the USSR before the war was a threat to it, as was the hope of the world's workers at the time headed by powerful communist parties that had strategic goal of revolution.

The ruling class is engaged in a process of building a fascist police state that reduces gradually all the rights and freedoms of labor and popular movement acquired blood money.

This process, facilitated by the class collaboration of the main leaders of major unions and parties called "left" is the modern fascism.

The various parties are for the conservation of the system and repeat the tunes against the unemployed need, lack of jobs, to training they receive assistance, and put to work by creating part-time contracts, youth employment, early retirement or prolonged, short everything possible to not tackle the heart of the problem, capital, and that also allows employers to exempt from charges, which obliterates the possibility to reduce debt Sovereign, the worst increases.

The electioneering allow the bourgeoisie to gain time, to calm the anger rumbling, to contain the danger of social explosion.

The system is cracking everywhere. The revolt in Greece can reach Italy and other  European countries. It can have a "domino effect" and blow up the system, winner of the revolt gradually all countries. While we're not there yet, all parties go up to the plate to stop, halt the revolt, the drift to what is acceptable to the bourgeoisie.

To earn more profits, the bourgeoisie has in fact declared war on the proletariat. She tries to destroy him by cunning and deceit, as it can to mend the system that goes in rags. But the more they rapiècent, the rag was more likely to leave in tatters.

Should be discarded in the trash that rag, this system. But it will fall on its own. We must organize, rebuild our instruments of class, party, rebuild the union and the class organization that can take them down from their pedestals.

Whatever the election results, financial capital, capital that dominates the entire sphere of production in the imperialist epoch, will not yield power voluntarily. The proletariat will conquer the upper hand, by a people's war, a war of class time. There is no other way out of the general crisis of capitalism rotting.

What Maoists Say–”Orissa: Imperialist tourism for ‘tribal entertainment’ in War Zones of Repression and Resistance”

CPI (Maoist)–Odisha State Organizing Committee–Statement, 16 March 2012
The government – both at the Centre and the state (Odisha) – has reduced adivasis into mere exhibition items in attempts to lure domestic and foreign tourists. On one hand, the government while inviting multinational capitalists to plunder natural and mineral resources in the adivasi heartland is trying to repress voices of resistance by unleashing Operation Green Hunt on adivasis and the common mass at gun-point, and on the other, it is intensifying its efforts to turn innocent adivasis into exhibition items. Although the government claims to have amended the so-called laws in February 2012 to put certain checks on tourists visiting adivasi areas, it has turned out to be a blatant lie. In the same breath as the power centres in Delhi and Shahid Nagar are implementing the much-debated industrialization and displacement laws at gun-point, they are sending tourists to adivasi areas to click naked pictures of the adivasis, and turning these areas into tourism-friendly commodities. In Ganjam and Kandhamal, such inhuman activities are going on through unwritten permission by the district SPs in corrupt connivance with the said power centres. The same government that is sending police forces to these areas to ablaze forests, to burn down heaps of dry turmeric leaves, and to destroy people’s properties and lives is sending foreign tourists to click barren hills and bare bodies of adivasis: this is an insult to the people.
Because of all these, we have arrested two Italian tourists (one of them is a tourism trader licensed by the state government):
  1. Bosusco Paolo, B, Pralesio 10, Condove (to), Italy
  2. Clavdio Colangelo, via Di Frascati, 215, 00040 Rocca Di Papa, Italy
By doing so, we are exposing the real face of the government bereft any shred of humanism that has taken adivasi areas as some tourism commodity, as though these places are habitats of apes and chimpanzees. We are requesting the common mass to raise voice against turning adivasi areas into tourism commodities. Having arrested these two Italian culprits, we are also releasing two Odia slaves of theirs—Santosh and Kartik.

If the government is serious about freeing these two visitors, central and state governments should as primary condition stop all repression and combing operations in Odisha by 18 March 2012, and come forward to discuss our demands with us. If this is not done, we cannot take this government into confidence; and we will not be responsible for the loss of lives of the two visitors, rather the government that is unleashing terror without heeding to our demands and the state machinery that is running an illegal tourism trade will be.
Our demands
  1. Adivasis are not commodities of tourism and adivasi areas are not recreation spots for tourists. Announce this clearly and arrest those who violate it.
  2. Stop repression in the name of Operation Green Hunt. Recall all police camps from remote areas, except from thanas. Create conducive space for dialogues with revolutionaries over people’s problems.
  3. Repeal the ban on the CPI (Maoist) and other mass organizations in Odisha.
  4. Arrest and try under murder and rape cases SPs and other police employees involved in fake encounters and custodial deaths of Lalit Dehuri, Junesh Badaraita, Pradeep Majhi, and others and in the gang rape case of Arati Majhi. Withdraw all charges against Arati Majhi and release her.
  5. Release Ashutosh, Kamalakanta Sethi, Sujata, Kishor Jena, Pratap, Manjulata, and all those arrested in connection to the attack on the Nayagarh Armoury.
  6. Stop slapping fresh false cases against and detaining in jail those who are acquitted by courts. In this context, release unconditionally Subhashree Das and Lalit from Rayagada along with all others re-arrested or detained.
  7. Release Shatrughna Biswal, Uttam, Shekhar, Sudarshan Mandal, Ramesh Nayak, Lata, Bijal, Ratna along with all other innocent people from Rayagada, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Sambalpur, Mayurbhanj, Kendujhar, and other districts who have been put behind bars in the name of being Maoists.
  8. Do not repeal ‘adivasi status’ for Jhodia, Kanda Dora, Acha Kui, Gauda Kui, Kumbhar Kui, Saora, Odia Kandha, Khaira, and other adivasi communities, and recognize the ‘adivasi status’ of many other such communities.
  9. Provide access to drinking water in villages in all parts of Odisha, irrigation to farm lands, free health care in all Panchayats, and free education facilities up to high school.
  10. Stop police repression on all anti-displacement mass movements such as anti-POSCO, anti-Vedanta, and the Kalinganagar movements. Release all anti-displacement leaders and activists such as Abhay Sahu, Narayan Reddy, and others.
  11. Release Gananath Patra, the former Chairman of Daringbadi and Sonepur Sarpanch Swami, brother of Nachika Linga, and the two school students along with other leaders of mass movements and anti-repression movements who have been arrested by the vengeful police forces. Stop slapping cases endlessly against people associated with Mandrabaju, Nedingpadar, Gudari, and Narayanpatna land-rights movements. Release those who have been implicated in similar cases and are in jail after withdrawing all the cases.
  12. Institute independent enquiries into state-sponsored dramas of issuing false statements under pressure and threatening during surrenders, and creating a covert campaign against the Revolution. Institute enquiry by independent bodies and take due action against the Kendujhar police for detaining Sangeet Pradhan for years after he surrendered and suffered a fracture in his hand due to police torture.
  13. Meet all the unfulfilled demands placed during the arrest of the Malkangiri Collector by the Maoists.
We appeal to the common people to support and rally for these just and democratic demands and force the government to come for dialogues.

Report on the Demonstration at the Moroccan Embassy in London on the 19th March

The Arab Spring and its aftermath cascaded throughout the entire Arab world, and not only those countries that are deemed as enemies of the West, such as Syria, but also in those countries very friendly with the West, such as Saudi Arabia and Morocco.

Indeed, the mainstream press has ignored any protest in these countries and also turned a blind eye to the level of state repression carried out by these two states, by two tyrannical and repressive monarchies. In Morocco, many political activists have been arrested and imprisoned, and there have been hunger strikes in the prisons to protest the horrific conditions and lack of justice.

A demonstration was called at the Moroccan embassy in London, to specifically call to the attention of the Moroccan state of some Moroccan Communists, Youssef El Hamdiya and Mourad Chouini, who have  undergone hunger strike and Azzedine Errousi, who has been on hunger strike for 90 days. Morocco has a good image in the press, it has not been chosen by the west for a regime change.

However, we hope our demonstration can draw attention to the true state of affairs in Morocco; these protests will continue until the above political activists are freed.

Attacks on SOS Rasisme office in Norway

The office of SOS Rasisme in Haugesund (Southwestern Norway) has been a subject of vandalism. Three windows have been broken with stones.

Sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning the office has been a subject of vandalism. Activist and treasurer Kjell Gunnar Larsen has the following answers to what has happened and what's the background of the vandalism.

What has happened?

When I came to the office on Monday at around 1130 I was met by a sad sight. Three large windows had been broken and glass and stones were spread a long way into the office. The police was oriented about the misdeed and has conducted a survey to secure evidence. They have also sent a requisition to a glazier who has taped the windows.
The police however chose not to contact us.

What do you think is the background for that it was exactly the SOS Rasisme office that was attacked?

For me as an active antiracist in this town for several years vandalism and threats from Nazis is not a new phenomenon, even though we have been saved for such attacks during the last couple of years.

The Norwegian daily Dagbladet has however run a hostile campaign against us now for two years where they have twisted and turned the truth and given place for anybody who has held a grudge against SOS Rasisme. These people have gotten a place in the paper whatever their motives have been and how fantastic their stories have been. Dagbladet has not given us the right to answer to these stories, thus we have not had an opportunity to come with our arguments in a fair way.

Do you mean that Dagbladet is to blame for the attack against the Haugesund office?

Of course I do not suspect that people employed in Dagbladet have thrown the stones. But this campaign against SOS Rasisme has of course had consequenses. They have run a campaign against us and created a witch hunt. They have created a climate where it is allowed to harass us. The breaking of windows is only a physical expression of this.

They have also put a lot of pressure on all of our fiscal supporters and politicians so that they can paralyze us economically, and several of the fiscal supporters and politicians have not been hard to ask.

We have been a guard dog against the inhuman asylum politics run by the government. We have consequently critizised the racism they have spread in order to get votes in the electoral campaign – whatever party it has been. This struggle has given us enemies. All these factors multiplied have lead to the central organs of SOS Rasisme have had to prioritize legal processes instead of working against racism and Nazism for two years now.

But we have no intentions to lay down and die. Around all of Norway our local branches are active in many ways. We are in the front line in the work against Nazis and against deportations of refugees who are in danger of being returned to torture and prosecution. The struggle against racism continues!

Democracy and Class Struggle says Dagbladet needs to be exposed in its campaign against SOS Rasisme has Dagbladet nonsense is what breeds Anders Breivik's - it is time to make the world aware of the irresponsibilty of Dagbladet and for them to to held to account for their sensationalism and provocations.

Protest at Moroccan Embassy London on 19th March 2012 - Political prisoners; Comrades Mourad Chouini and Youssef El-Hamdia, go on Hunger Strike for three days, 16-17-18 March, in Essaouira Prison.

Maoist political prisoners; Mourad Chouini and Youssef El-Hamdia, go on HUNGER STRIKE for three days, 16-17-18 March, in Essaouira Prison.

This initiative comes as solidarity with the hunger-striking political prisoners in Taza, Fez and Errachidia, and as solidarity with heroic Rif uprising.

The two comrades call upon the glorious popular masses to widespread struggles as reply to widespread of suppression, and to persist and resist in such significant moment in the history of our people's struggles, in which toiler pepole's and political prisoner's struggles are mingled.

They also express their high heartedly red greeting to the hunger-strikers for their persistence and sacrifice, and express their unconditional support toward them in their battle which have reached high-score levels, and which have exposed the reactionary blood-thirty nature of the regime, crushing down all its guises.

Lets all act now in order to save hunger-strikers' lives!
