India: Salute Convention of CDRO and CLC in Hyderabad on 2nd and 3rd September 2017 says Harsh Thakor

SALUTE CONVENTION OF CDRO AND  CLC IN HYDERABAD ON 2ND AND 3RD SEPTEMBER.

TRULY HISTORIC EVENT WHICH EVEN IF QUALITATIVELY SMALL WAS QUALITATIVELY GREAT.

MOST SIGNIFICANT EVENT IN DARK HOUR OF FASCISM  WHERE THE STATE IS BANGING EVERY POSSIBLE TOOTH AND NAIL TO CRUSH THE PEOPLES MOVEMENTS AND STRUGGLES IN EVERY FACET OF LIFE,PARTICULARLY THE PEASANTRY.

On 2nd and 3rd September a convention was held on the 10th anniversary of CDRO on the topic of the supression of the state on the People's Movements.in Hyderabad in Balianghapaaly Vinghiah Sundaram Hall in Hyderabad on September 2nd and 3rd.

The conference discussed in detail on how the Adivasis in Central India, Chattisgarh, Jharkhand, Bastar and in Bihar States. The governments are willfully committing crimes and atrocities on Adivasis in the Central India.

All of this is result of the situation that the Corporates in India like Reliance, Adanis, Tatas, Birlas are ruling India. Many tribal Adivasis from Chattisgarth were present.

The Central and State governments have becoming mere puppets in the hands of these Corporates.

The main speakers attended the conference are Soni Sori, Goutham Navalahka, Malini Subrahmanyam, Bela Bhatia, Prof. Haragopal, Jag Mohan Singh from Punjab and the State committee members of CLC AP and CLC. Adivasis ( Including activist Hidme), people from other parts of India, Civil rights activist from all over India participated.

The conference resolved to strengthen our Joint struggle against the brutal atrocities of the ruling governments.

The most important aspect of the democratic rights movement is the socio-economic semi-feudal,semi-colonial repression which forms the base of the state repression.

Operation Greenhunt is a perfect example of the fascist colours of the state which in the pretext of crushing the Maoist movement is trampling on the genuine struggles of the broad masses and framing civil activists in the name of terrorism.

In recent months civil activist Bela Bhatia was threatened by the police forces having a house arrest for some days.

Professor G.N.Saibaba is languishing  in prison for exposing the fascist socio-political order as well as Hem Mishra and Prashant Rahi.

Hundreds of activists fighting for the self-determination of the Kashmiri people are in prison.

Dalit labourers are victims of landlord persecution with connivance of the police and state machinery.

Muslim minorities live in constant fear of persecution. 500 person assembled.

I spoke on the phone to the Civil Liberties Committee leader who stated that they would not mind even dying to fight for democratic rights.

Really heartening to hear expression of such strong determination.

Gautam Navlakha of PUDR,Salim Saboowala of CPDR, Mumbai,Bela Bhatia and Sonu Suri from Chattisgarh,Jagmohan Singh from AFDR Punjab,Kranti Chaitanya of Civil Liberties Commitee,Telengana and A.P.Prof.Hargopal of Human Rights Forum addressed the conference.Gautam Navlakha narrated the historic background of Kashmir and how the Indian state was denying them their right to self -determination.

The other speakers particularly condemned the encounter killings in no uncertain manner exposing how they were actually murders.

Kranti Chaitanya narrated how even the judicial machinery was becoming a puppet of the ruling classes  and bowing to their dictate.

Overall the event was  major boost to the civil liberties and democratic rights movement..It sowed the seeds for a resurrection of a movement for civil rights which is the very need of the hour in the era of morale fascism where trying to camouflage as a democracy the state is deploying fascist methods to kill democratic activists and supress movements all over the nation.

Today of great significance is the corporates which has the backing of the state to infiltrate  all walks of life and crush all movements of people like that of  tribals in Orissa . and Chatisgarh.

In today's context the civil liberties movement has to even respect the fact that even if they differ with their ideology, the Maoist forces in Bastar represent the struggle for genuine democracy of the Adivasis and must not be condemned.

The model for the democratic rights movement was the formation of the All India Federation of Organizations for Democratic Rights in Guntur 35 years ago which believed that the movement must be struggle oriented and relate with the movements of the workers and peasantry.

The democratic rights movement or organization is like the equivalent of arms or legs to a backbone which are the mass struggles of the broad masses.

Thus a strong democratic rights movement is an absolute necessity for an agrarian revolution.

The democratic rights organization must not become a front organization of any Maoist group and retain it's identity as a mass political platform.

To combat the menace of communal fascism it has to assist in building revolutionary democratic secular fronts or platforms creating mass revolutionary resistance against the forces of Hindu fascist variety .Consistent propaganda must also be done exposing the fascist economic policies which are literally enslaving the toiling masses ,particularly the landless peasantry.

It must be realized that the Hindu communal fascist tend is reaching it's highest peak ever with the judiciary bending or subverting more and more to their dictates.

The Corporates  are also stronger than ever with the sharpening of the tentacles of globalization.

Long Live the Democratic Rights Movement.

New North Korean H Bomb fitting into ICBM

Democracy and Class Struggle says time for realism on North Korea - negotiations for a Peace Treaty to end Korean War not just an Armistice.

North Korean is a Nuclear Power and should be recognized as such.

Expose the big lie that North Korea Does Not Want Negotiations - It is the United States and not North Korea that is preventing negotiations of a settlement on the Korean Peninsula for last 60 years.

Patriots in South Korea start negotiations now !

Thoughts on Maoism by Finnish Bolshevik - Our Critique

Marxism Leninism Maoism what is it ; Finnish Bolshevik thinks that Marxism Leninism Mao Zedong Thought is OK but Marxism Leninism Maoism developed by Chairman Gonzalo and PCP is not OK.

We offer some comradely criticisms of Finnish Bolshevik who we have praised for his work in the past.

Protracted People's Revolutionary War

MLM developed by Chairman Gonzalo and PCP sees Protracted Revolutionary People's War as a process not just an event like an insurrection.

The New Italian Communist Party has outlined what a process and event is in the context of Russia and China and why Protracted Peoples War is a universal strategy of MLM and not just a particularity of China under Mao Zedong.

The Protracted Revolutionary People’s War (PRPW) is socialist revolution that is being built.

The Protracted Revolutionary People's War (PRPW) as conception, is opposed to the conception of common sense (that is to say the current ways of speaking and thinking, the result of clergy and bourgeoisie’s dominant role) that the socialist revolution would break out, that would be a spontaneous rebellion of masses of the people forced to intolerable conditions.

The communist movement at its beginning (1848) inherited this conception and understood the socialist revolution as a revolution that breaks out, the way of the revolutions of the past.

This conception of the socialist revolution, anyway, was at odds with the experience that the communist movement was developing.

The Communists little by little realized this contrast between their conception of the socialist revolution and the practice of socialist revolution.

Engels was the first who, in 1895, exhibited in an organic way the concept that the socialist revolution was by its nature a form different from the revolutions of the past, that does not break out but it is being built.

But the socialist parties of the time (which were connected to each other in the Second International) did not accept his discovery.

Even leaders of those parties who professed themselves Marxists, such as the German Social Democratic Party, joined Marxism in a dogmatic way, albeit in different gradations.

Communism, socialism and socialist revolution were articles of faith, which were not put in the lines for guiding the current activity of the parties.

Precisely for this reason they were unable to cope with their task, as the events of 1914 blatantly demonstrated.

Among the socialist parties of the time, only Lenin’s party put Engels’ conception in his practice, but it did it without making Engels’ conception a weapon in the struggle against dogmatism, opportunism and economism.

He built the revolution in Russia as a Protracted Revolutionary People War (PRPW), but without being aware of it (so confirming that the practice is generally richer than the theory).

Similarly, Stalin and the Communist International in the early part of the last century led a successful socialist revolution internationally as Protracted Revolutionary People's War (PRPW)  of which the Soviet Union was the world red base, but did not reach full consciousness of what they were doing.

This gave way in the Communist International to dogmatism, opportunism and economism that came to light openly in the 50s of last century.

Mao Tse-tung was the first party leader who developed the conception of the PRPW as a strategy of socialist revolution.

Mao Tse-tung, however, enunciated this conception as a strategy of the revolution in China, tying it to the specific features of Chinese social and political situation (Why Can Red Power Exist in China? - October 1928 Selected Works of Mao Tse -tung, vol. 2 Editions Social Relations, available on the website of the (n)PCI http://www.nuovopci.it/arcspip/article0c16.html in Italian language).
https://www.marxists.org/reference/archive/mao/selected-works/volume-1/mswv1_3.htm in English.

Later it was indicated as the strategy of the revolution for all the colonial, semi-colonial and neo-colonial countries in which the mass of the population was still made up of peasants.

Only with the rise of Marxism-Leninism-Maoism as the third and higher stage of communist thought it was acquired the conception that the Protracted Revolutionary People's War is the universal strategy of the socialist revolution, the strategy that the Communists must follow in every country in order to win.

Most European Maoists now are applying strategic concept of Protracted Revolutionary Peoples War to their own countries in France, British Isles,Germany and Norway and Italy and developing the concept of counter power and red base areas in their own countries in a wide variety of ways to build up the internal process of revolution in conjunction with the development of the mass line.

That Finnish Bolshevik cannot imagine RPPW in Ukraine despite the contradictions with Kiev and Moscow over self determination in the Donbass and shows a lack of revolutionary imagination about the historic role that the Donbass has played in Russian History.

New Democracy

Democracy and Class Struggle agree that New Democracy is meant for semi feudal semi capitalist countries but we also see that the democratic revolution in many western countries being aborted or incomplete and it is the task of MLM to complete the democratic revolution especially in relation to the national question in Imperialist States like UK, France and Spain.

Mass Line

We agree that the idea of the mass line was developed in Leninism but Mao took it to an altogether higher practical methodical new level in 1943.

MLM an Integral Science

Revolutionary Protracted Peoples War and Mass Line and Cultural Revolution and Maoist Philosophy are not just an items list for eclectics but integrated concepts - you cannot just support Cultural Revolution and Mass Line and be against RPPW like some revisionists in RCPUSA argue - the totality of Maoist Science is employed to move the revolutionary process.

Finnish Bolshevik

Finnish Bolshevik  fails to understand the rich profundity and centrality of  Revolutionary Protracted People's War in the totality of Maoism and we suggest he study the work of the New Italian Communist Party and Revolutionary Communist Party of Canada pathfinders in its application in the West.

What is Marxism Leninism Maoism Explained ?

Democracy and Class Struggle welcomes young comrades who try to give brief explanations of Marxism Leninism Maoism and we think this is one of the more successful attempts to do so using an excellent graphic form.

There are dangers to oversimplification to Marxism Leninism Maoism  and we recommend study of text here for those wanting more serious study.

Finding more creative ways to explain Marxism Leninism Maoism without becoming too reductionist is a challenge to us all.

50th Anniversary of Naxalbari celebrated by 40,000 People in Giridh region of Jharkhand by Harsh Thakor

HARSH THAKOR SAYS SALUTE INEXTINGUISHABLE FLAME OF NAXALBARI SHIMMERING IN 50TH ANNIVERSARY YEAR IN GIRIDH CARRYING ON THE LEGACY OF NAXALBARI REBELLION TO WORKERS AND ADIVASIS.

THE GREAT MIGHT OF THE STATE CANNOT CRUSH ITS INVINCIBLE SPIRIT.THE FLAME OF NAXALBARI WILL NEVER DIE AND ILLUMINATE FOREVER TO EXTINGUISH THE DARK FORCES OF FASCISM.

SALUTE MAZDOOR SANGHATA SAMITI FOR SHIMMERING TORCH OF NAXALBARI BY STAGING PROGRAMME ON AUGUST 20TH COMMEMORATING 50 YEARS OF NAXALABRI IN GIRIDH REGION OF JHARKHAND AND DEFYING ATEMPTS OF AUTHORITIES TO FOIL IT.

FITTING REPLY TO THE DARKNESS OF FASCISM PREVAILING AND AN INSPIRATION TO ALL DEMOCRATIC FORCES.

40000 PEOPLE MOBILIZED CREATING VIBRATIONS OF THE EARTH SHAKING OR A THUNDERSTORM TAKING PLACE.PROOF THAT THE FLAME OF NAXALBARI WILL NEVER DIE LIKE AN INEXTINGUISHABLE TORCH WHICH IS OF GREAT RELEVANCE IN THE DARK HOUR OF FASCISM.

Commemorating the historic 50 years of the great Naxalbari peasant uprising a rally and public meeting was held by Mazdoor Sanghatana Samiti in Giridh town in Jharkhand comprising around 40,000 people..

After paying homage to all the martyrs of Naxalbari the meet was inaugurated by Varavara Rao, founder of VIRASAM and president of Revolutionary Democratic Front .

The meeting had great significance as it was addressed to the working class within which the Maoist movement has not made significant inroads.

It also comprised over a thousand Adivasi women workers which was encouraging. Varavara Rao summarized the history of the naxalbari movement and it's ressurection through great strides in Dandkaranya.1lakh activists comprised women activists and 10,00 landless peasants. In the guerilla zone or Jantana Sarkars in Dandkaranya exploitation of dalits or landless labourers or adivasis was non-existent.

Varavara Rao explained how Naxalbari struggle shimmered the torch of Maoism which spread all over the country. He explained how Maoists provided basic necessities .

In his view the current economic policies of 'India Shining' promoted by Narendra Modi were fascist in nature and totally negated the needs of the broad masses. The united peoples liberation front in his view wasa major development. In his view the determination of the Maoist forces in Jahrakhand would prevent the ruling party their ain acheiving their objective of crushing the maoist movement.

The killing of 68 persons in Gorakhpur Hospital was condemned in no uncertain terms by V.V. who equated New India with the Gorakhpur hospital. Finally he also referred to the need to re-open the 70 textiles in Jharkhand .

The police tried to obstruct the rally outside the ground near Moti Cinema but were unsuccessful.

Baccha Singh, leader of mazdor sanghatna samiti spoke about the state repression nad the organized movement to combat it.Vistaphan Virodhi manch leader Damodar spoke on the tribal and farmers resistance to repression.Cultural programmes were also staged.

Activists who played a prominent role were Ajit Rai,Kanhai Pandey,Navin Pandey,RamMahato,Akhil Yadav and Shanti Devi.

Activists apart from Mazdoor sanghatana leader Baccha Singh and V.V.Rao  that participated were Bokaro thermal women workers union secretary Sumtra Devi, stage secretary Kedar Rai and Giridh Shaka's representative Pradhan Murmu

The significant aspect was the mobilization of the workers and the ability of activists to resist the administration's attempt to foil the event.

Such acts will be of great importance in combating fascist trends of govt.

The meeting also throws light on the meticulus mass work done by the pro-maoist cadre establishing that it is not a terrorist movement but one that is deeply rooted in the masses.

In spite of ban on most revolutionary mass organizations official or unofficialy this meeting took place, which is great.

Recently in Vaishali the administration similarly tried to foil attempts of such a programme to be held. The meet played an effective role in dispelling any visions of the current Modi regime to be a progressive one and created consciousness on the on ground fascism prevailing in India.

It also could explain the politics of Naxalbari in the language of the broad masses and make them connect it to the class struggles of their day to day lives.
