Dr Bhattarai warns to launch 'massive revolt'
Senior Maoist leader and Finance Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai warned that his party would opt for “massive revolt” if any political party made any attempt to topple the incumbent government.
While speaking at a programme held in Tanahu on Monday, he said, "It will be foolhardy to expect our party to remain silent if any party tried to prevent the government from smoothly functioning", adding, "Some parties which are still obsessed with feudalistic culture are making attempts to negate the historic political gains the country has witnessed.”
He also made it a point to relate that the government is committed to carry out people-centric works.
