Our view of Bernard D'Mello is that he has a reformist rather than a revolutionary view of Marxism and Maoism but that does not stop him having some useful insights and political practice - but his liberalism combined with socialism limits his politics. 

He is more suited for history and human rights work than revolutionary activity rather like Arundhati Roy.
