Alexander Zakharchenko is a new generation of leaders - he was an ordinary citizen not even a soldier - from a small mining village - he rose to defend his people as military commander and leader.

His working class experience in the Coal Mines as a electrician determined his outlook and was shown in his political practice.

May the the Donbass produce many more Zakharchenko's - it has produced leaders in past and will in future.

He reminds of of many socialist and communist Coal miners in Wales in the past and probably accounts for our deep empathy with him.

Let Zakharchenko be a model for future leaders citizen and soldier.
