#MeTooUrbanNaxal: From Divide and Rule to Divert and Rule : Arundhati Roy, Jignesh Mevani, Prashant Bhushan and Bezwada Wilson

Recently, 5 human rights activists from across India were arrested for their supposed involvement in the Bhima Koregaon violence.

These people, who have been fighting for the rights of the oppressed for decades are being called 'Urban Naxals' by the ruling government.

Addressing a press conference on this issue, Arundhati Roy, Jignesh Mevani, Prashant Bhushan and Bezwada Wilson speak of how the country is witnessing one of its darkest phases.

As 2019 elections draw closer, the ruling party is doing everything in its power to divide people and to divert attention from their failures and the real issues plaguing the country.
