William Morris speech on Whigs, Democrats and Socialists (1888)
Democracy and Class Struggle cannot better in 2015 the analysis of William Morris made of the British State in 1888 and Parliamentarianism.
His ability to see how so called socialists would fail in the structural transformation of the British State and Capitalism because of their adherence to practicality and abandonment of the principles of Socialism.
Listen and reflect on William Morris and his profound understanding of the British State and capitalism as we go into the ritual of yet another "British" General Election.
Red Salute to William Morris and Smash British Capitalism and its State - Long Love Marxism Leninism Maoism.

'Democracy and Class Struggle cannot better in 2015 the analysis of William Morris made of the British State in 1888 and Parliamentarianism.'
ReplyDeleteThis is quite a confession. We can do better in 2015 than William Morris. We have Bob Avakian and the New Synthesis of Communism. William Morris is a dinosaur, Avakian is the future.
Whose the Dinosaur ?
ReplyDeleteWell William Morris could see through the Liberalism of John Stuart Mill something the New Synthesis fails to do.
If you take the time to listen to his speech you can learn something about the particularities of the British State and its core class nature.
William Morris was also a Green Communist in 1880's a man seeing well beyond in age in politics and ecology.
The real Dinosaur is Bob Avkaian who a 100 years from now will be remembered by no one - William Morris has joined the Communist Immortals and will be read as long as there are books.
