Professor Aleksandr Buzgalin discusses the recent referendums for independence in Ukraine's eastern regions
Professor Aleksandr Buzgalin wrestling with the contradictions in Ukraine and Russia in light of the recent referendum. Since March we have been pointing out the contradiction between Pro Putinism and the growth of Anti Fascism in Russia and the historic space that it provides for the renewal of the Russian Left and the growth of revolutionary forces both in Ukraine and Russia.
It is a point that has been firmly grasped by Boris Kargilitsky in his interview on this site.

I don't think this is a good idea to promote the likes of Mr. Buzgalin.
ReplyDeleteBuzgalin and Kargalitsky pass the test of being anti Putin and standing up for democratic rights in Russia.
ReplyDeleteBuzgalin and Kargarlitsky also represent the marginalised Left in Russia.
We do nor see them has revolutionaries and we are NOT promoting them as such, but they are part of the new political space that is being created in the Ukraine and Russia for revolutionary forces to develop.
