Nepal's Red Star condemns the brutal murder of Kishanji
2 December: Unified Cmmunist Party of Nepal Maoist ,the Mohan Baidhya faction’ yesterday condemned the brutal murder of the top leader of Communist Party of India ‘Maoist’ Mallojula Koteswar Rao ‘Kishanji’, and demanded fair action against the culprits.
Issuing a joint press statement which comes a day after senior vice chairman Mohan Baidya ‘Kiran’ had said that his faction ‘will not tolerate deviation from party’s policies’ and lines’ and was ready to take any action to safeguard party ideal against the party leader.
In the statement it is said that Kishanji had been nabbed on November 23 and succumb to death on November 24 after his refusal to surrender.
But in media, it had been provoked that was killed in an encounter with security forces in West Bengal of India on November 24.
According to the Vice-chairman Kiran and General Secretary Ram Bahadur Thapa Badal’s press release, the faction has said that they align with the solidarity while Maoist Supremo Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ hasn’t commented publicly on the incident.
