The newly formed CPN Maoist led by Netra Bikram Chand has enticed a majority of youth leaders to join the party to seize hold of CPN-Maoist’s sister wings.

KATHMANDU, DEC 11 - The newly formed CPN Maoist led by Netra Bikram Chand has enticed a majority of youth leaders to join the party to seize hold of CPN-Maoist’s sister wings.

CPN Maoist leaders claimed that Sharad Rasaili of the All Nepal National Independent Students-Revolutionary, Udaya Bahadur Chalaune of the National Volunteer’s Bureau and Lal Bahadur BC of CPN-Maoist teachers’ wing have defected the mother party.

They also stated that discussions were underway to bring Jaipuri Ghartimagar-led women’s wing to its side.

CPN Maoist leader Khadga Bahadur Bishwokarma said that the party is In discussion with several other leaders from CPN-Maoist, UCPN (Maoist) and former Maoist leaders to join the ‘new struggle’.
